  1.                    AN ORIGINAL STOCK CHARTING SYSTEM

  3. To obtain directions on how to get these programs running, first make
  4. sure you are in DOS.  You should see the prompt A> (or C> if you are on
  5. a hard disk).  Remove your DOS disk, and insert the stock charting
  6. system diskette in drive A.  Turn on your printer and make sure it is
  7. ready to print.  Most printers have a "ready" light, and it should be
  8. on.  Then, enter the following command just as it appears:

  10.                        COPY A:SMUSERG2.DOC LPT1:
  11.  
  12. and press the ENTER key.  Several pages of information will be printed,
  13. and the output will be paginated with pages numbered.

  15. To get a "snapshot" printout of this screen, first make sure your
  16. printer is ready and then press a shift key and the PrtSc key simultan-
  17. eously.  The PrtSc key on the IBM-PC keyboard is on the second row of
  18. keys up from the bottom row, near the right-hand side under the ENTER
  19. key.  On other computers it may be in a different position.  This pro-
  20. cedure can be used to obtain a screen printout at almost any time,
  21. except when the screen contains graphics.
